Mental Health & Well-Being Symposium
Virtual Mental Health & Well-Being Symposium
Friday, April 8th, 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
The ECU Well-Being Collective invites students, faculty, and staff to participate in our inaugural virtual Mental Health and Well-Being Symposium. Featuring ECU presenters and offering information for the entire campus community, attendees will learn about programs on campus that support positive mental health and promote help-seeking behaviors.
Offering three separate tracks, participants can select from a number of options including topics related to our general student population or programs related to special student groups like athletes or fraternity and sorority life. Faculty and staff members will also have a chance to learn more about tools for managers or address compassion fatigue.
Learning objectives for this event include:
- To provide awareness and information about available resources on ECU’s campus, including services specific to students, faculty, and staff
- To create a culture of support and compassion that allows for conversations about mental health and the unique challenges facing our campus
- To identify future collaborations and opportunities to continue addressing these issues as a shared priority across campus
