Create a #YouMatterECU Instagram Guide

Looking to create an #YouMatterECU Instagram guide?

Look no further and follow the steps below:

 

  1. Open the Instagram app
  2. Go to ecu_crw profile
  3. Click on the book icon underneath CRW’s story highlights
  4. Click on the guide with the title #YouMatterECU
  5. Scroll down and click on the “Struggle is Real T-shirt” post
  6. Click on the bookmark icon at the bottom right of the picture
  7. Scroll down to “Mack’s Story”
  8. In Mack’s Story click the three buttons at the bottom right of the screen
  9. Hit “Save”
  10. Go to Grace’s story, repeat steps 8 & 9 for Grace’s story
  11. Now, go to your Personal Profile (or profile of the department you are posting for) and hit the (+ sign in the top right corner), hit “Guide”
  12. Under choose guide type, choose post
  13. Select the three posts that were saved in steps 6-10, hit next
  14. Add title #YouMatterECU
    1. If the cover photo is not the “Struggle is Real T-shirt post”, hit “Change cover photo” hit the “Saved” tab at the bottom of the screen, and click on “Struggle is Real T-shirt post”
  1. In the bio, under “What is this guide about?” Insert below:

#YouMatterECU is a campus and community-wide effort at East Carolina University to make sure that you, as ECU students, know that you are loved, you MATTER, and you are not alone. There is hope, and there is help. Join us as we work to create awareness in mental health & well-being.

  1. Make sure the “Struggle is real T-shirt” post is first, if not, press three dots and hit reorder post
  2. Use three lines on right side to move post to correct order (“Struggle is Real T-Shirt”, Mack, Grace)
  3. Once in correct order, the (“Struggle is Real T-shirt”) post needs to have the title of “The struggle is REAL, and that’s okay!”
  4. For “What is this post about?” Insert below: Struggling is normal and it is okay. Your mental health struggles are a priority and your story matters! Recovery can start now- find your local support systems. For a full list of health & well-being resources, visit https://well-being.ecu.edu/explore/resources-for-students/
  5. Mack’s Story (Requires title of “This is Mack’s story…”)
  6. Grace’s Story (Requires title of “This is Grace’s story…”)
