#YouMatterECU
#YouMatterECU is a campus and community-wide effort to normalize conversations around mental health struggles, connect students to resources on and off campus, and send a clear message that there is hope, there is help, and recovery is possible.
What is #YouMatterECU?
The #YouMatterECU campaign began in January 2022 to send a message to ECU students that “You Matter” with a secondary message that there is hope and there is help. The campaign was created with the following outcomes in mind:
- Continuing to normalize the conversation around mental health struggles
- Increase awareness of health & well-being resources on and off campus
- Create a call to action for Pirates to help themselves and others by utilizing available resources
